2020 Kenya Science and Engineering Fair (KSEF) National workshop for teachers: Circular

Here are contents of a circular from the Education Ministry on the 2020 Kenya Science and Engineering Fair(KSEF) National workshop for teachers. The circular is dated January 7, 2020:

“The Director of Field Co-ordination and Co curricular Activities has organized the Kenya Science and Engineering Fair(KSEF) National workshop as per the approved Calendar of Events for year 2020.

It is a two (2) days workshop and the reporting day will be on Thursday 16h January, 2020 at 5.00 p.m.

The Ministry budget will cater for full board accommodation and transport refund for all the participants.

The Kenya Science and Engineering Fair Regional Chairpersons will assist in the identification of the participants.

The main agenda will be the sensitization on coding and programming of robots since robotics competitions are being introduced as Kenya Science Engineering Fair 13th category in the Non-STEM
Schools.

The STEM schools held their inaugural competition in year 2019.
The allocation of the eighty seven (87) participants is as follows:-

Number of participants per Region.
Number of participants per Region.

Once sensitized the participants will be expected to cascade the information to other teachers during the Kenya Science and Engmeering fair County and Sub-County workshops.

The purpose of this lefter is to request for your assistance in seeking of the release of the identified papticipants from your region.”
