The final round robin matches of the 2023 basketball Boys 3×3 championship are slated for Saturday August 26th.
On the cards will be three nerve cracking clashes.
Ahead of tomorrow’s games Kenya’s Onjiko Boys sits at the summit with 10 points; having played all their matches.
Defending champions,
Buddo SS (Uganda), is at the second position with 9 points; but still have a match at hand. They will face FS Kamusinga (Kenya) in what seems to be a decider match for the gold medal. Kamusinga have 8 points from their five matches. A win for Buddo will take them to 11 points.
Hosts, ITS Gasabo, also have 8 points from five matches. They will be meeting Uganda’s Seroma Christian; who have garnered seven points from their five matches.
The third match will see Uganda’s Hope SS take on Kenya’s Timbila. The latter have lost all their opening five matches and sit at the bottom of the table with 5 points.
On their part, Hope have amassed seven points; with two wins and three losses.
The race for the podium finish is still wide open with Onjiko, Hope, FS Kamusinga, Buddo and ITS still in contention.
