2024 Form One Selection and Placement – CS Machogu Speaks

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has said that the placement of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) is underway.

During the release of the KCPE 2023 results, the CS disclosed that the government wanted to give parents time to prepare for 2024 form one admissions.

Machogu said the placement exercise would be completed by December 2023.

“The Ministry is determined to place the 2023 KCPE candidates in secondary schools as soon as possible to give parents adequate time to prepare them for the admissions to Form One. The actual Form One selection exercise for all categories of schools will be concluded by December, 2023.” CS Machogu said.

According to CS Machogu, all the KCPE 2023 candidates will be joining secondary schools in January 2024.

The learners will be placed in form one at National, Extra County, County and Sub County schools.
