2023 Knec Registration For Teacher Education Examinations; See Circular

THE KENYA NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL

REGISTRATION OF CANDIDATES FOR 2023 TEACHER EDUCATION EXAMINATIONS

Registration for Teacher Education for the following Examinations is ongoing. Deadline,20th Jan 2023.

However, Colleges will be advised on the deadline for UDPTE and UDECTE.

Upgrade Diploma in Primary Education (UDPTE).
Upgrade Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (UDECTE).
Certificate in Primary Teacher Education (PTE) for candidates referred in previous years.
Teacher Certificate for Adult Education (TCAE).
Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE).
Diploma in Special Education.
Diploma and Certificate in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE).

Candidates who were referred in Primary Teacher Education (PTE) examination which has been phased out shall be allowed to re-sit the papers referred for the last time in March/April 2023; thereafter KNEC shall not offer PTE examination.

Candidates who were referred previously in ECDE examination (Certificate and Diploma level) which has been phased out shall be allowed to re-sit for last time in March/April 2025.
