2024 School calendar adjusted as new reopening date is announced

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has issued a directive that all Basic Education Institutions reopen from 8th January 2024 and to 5th April 2024; for the 2024 academic year.

In a press statement sent to newsrooms, Machogu said the change is to allow parents adequate time to prepare for the new year.
