2025 KCSE Timetable (KNEC Revised & Final pdf)

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the final and updated timetable for the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), with exams scheduled to start on October 21, 2025.

The examination period will run from October 21 to November 12, beginning with French, Sign Language, and German as the initial subjects.

Practical exams are set to take place from October 22 to October 31, covering subjects like Home Science, Art and Design, Woodwork, and Metalwork.

Theory exams will kick off on November 3, starting with English and Chemistry, with a four-hour interval between the two subjects.

On November 4, all students will take the mandatory mathematics exam, followed by English Literature on the same day, with the two subjects allocated two and three hours, respectively.

The second Chemistry paper will be held on Wednesday, November 5, during the morning session, followed by the English essay (composition) in the afternoon.

On Thursday, November 6, students will take the Kiswahili (Lugha) paper in the morning, followed by the Kiswahili (Fasihi) paper in the afternoon.

The second week of exams will start with Christian Religious Education on November 11, followed by Biology Paper 1 in the afternoon of the same day.

Biology Paper 2 will be the first exam on Thursday, November 13, followed by History and Government in the afternoon.

The second week will wrap up with the Biology practical, allowing students one hour and 45 minutes to complete the tests.

The final week will begin with Geography Paper 1 in the morning, followed by Physics Paper 1 in the afternoon. Business Studies Paper 1 will be conducted on the second day, alongside Agriculture.

On Thursday, November 20, the second-to-last day of exams, students will take their second Business Studies paper along with the second Agriculture paper.

The examination period will conclude on Friday, November 21, with students completing Physics Paper 3, which is a practical exam.
