KUCCPS 2025 results for 2024 KCSE candidates will be released this week; here’s how to check them.

The government has finalized the placement of 2024 KCSE candidates into universities, paving the way for admissions under a new higher education framework that includes scholarships and loans for students in need.

Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba, represented by Dr. David Watene, Director of Education in the State Department of Higher Education, announced that the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has completed the placement process, with official results expected next week.

“I am pleased to inform you that KUCCPS has finished placing students who applied to various universities based on the KCSE 2024 results. I will announce the placements next week to support the admission process for the 2025/2026 academic year,” Ogamba stated.

During the joint graduation ceremony for JKUAT and the Pan African University Institute for Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation (PAUSTI) on June 27, Ogamba noted that the government has allocated funding for scholarships and loans to enhance access to higher education.

“This academic year, the government has set aside Sh 41.5 billion for the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and Sh 16.9 billion for the University Fund for scholarships,” he mentioned.

He highlighted that reforms in the university funding model are in progress to improve the financial stability of public universities and ensure quality education for all.

The graduation ceremony celebrated the 44th for JKUAT and the 12th for PAUSTI, with a total of 2,910 graduates.

JKUAT Vice Chancellor Prof. Victoria Wambui Ngumi emphasized new academic programs such as Naval Architecture and Biomedical Engineering, and praised students for their recent success at the Huawei Global ICT Competition in Shenzhen, China.

“The university is focusing on research collaboration and partnerships. Our faculty and students are actively involved in collaborative and interdisciplinary research activities that align with both national and international objectives,” she said.

1. Visit the KUCCPS student portal.
2. Enter your KCSE index number.
3. Input the year you took the KCSE exam.
4. Enter your password.
5. Click the login button.
