2026 School Games, KSSSA, Calendar
The Ministry of Education has released the 2026 School Games Calendar. According to the Calendar, the 2026 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association, KSSSA, National Term One Games will be held in the Lake side City of Kisumu in Nyanza Region while term two games will go to Kiambu County in Central Region. The Ministry has also introduced new disciplines; Scrabble and Chess in the term 2 games. The 2025 edition was held in Kakamega, Kenya.
The 2026 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Associations, FEASSSA, games will be held in Tanzania. The Prestigious East Africa School games will run from 12th -23rd August, 2026. Tanzania has been selected to host the prestigious games.

Dates: 5th to 12th April, 2026
Featuring: Athletics, Basketball 5 on 5, Hockey, Cross Country, Handball, Rugby 15’s and Swimming

Closing Ceremony: 11th April at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Mamboleo Kisumu.
Departure: 12th April, 2026.
