22nd Edition of the FEASSA Games in Kakamega, Kenya- 2025.
A Preview of the Games.
Kenya will be hosting this year’s 22nd Edition of the Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Associations (FEASSA) Games. Thousands of Secondary and Primary Schools’ athletes drawn from six countries will showcase their talents across venues in Kakamega. Apart from Kenya, there will also be participants from Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Ivory Coast.
Mbale City in Uganda played host to the 21st edition of the games; last year.
Kenya last hosted the games at Eldoret City in 2016.
In this 22nd Edition of FEASSA, a number of new sports disciplines have been introduced. These include: Scrabble, Chess, Beach soccer and Beach Volleyball.
Also, in an attempt to involve learners in more sports disciplines, demonstration games in cricket and Lacrosse will be played during the FEASSA games in Kakamega.
This year’s FEASSA Games will feature a total of 19 disciplines:

Alongside the disciplines, a number of other events have been lined up. There will be a cultural day, symposia and Capacity Training for coaches, officials and athletes.
The games kick off on Thursday 14th August; with a grand opening ceremony at Bukhungu Stadium on Friday.
