NAME OF SACCO; Bondo Teacher’s Sacco
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SACCO;
Bondo teachers Sacco Society was registered on 29th November 1999 under the Co-operative Societies act of the Laws of Kenya, with 13 pioneer members who took the bold step. The Society is based in Bondo town. The objectives of the society were to enable members save and borrow wisely depending on the member’s needs and ability to repay. We held our first Annual General meeting in December 1999 and the first check off for 83,500 was received in February 2000. As at December 31, 2015 the membership as per the members register stood at 1,140.
