A Spotlight on Butula Boys’ Rugby 15s Team.

Butula Boys’ star is fast rising in Rugby. The Western based Libondo Shimenga charges are yet to lose a single match this year.

In the 2023 KSSSA National Term one Games (held at Eldoret) Butula Boys emerged winners after downing hapless All Saints 38-00 at the finals.

In their quest for glory, Butula were lined up alongside Rift Valley’s St. Anthony Kitale, Kwale High School (Coast Region) and Nyanza’s representative, Kisii School.

The boys would then represent Kenya at the 2023 East Africa School games, FEASSSA, held in Huye city of Rwanda.

They arrived in Huye with one aim, to clinch the FEASSSA title, only to fall short of their expectations as they couldn’t get past eventual winners; St. Mary’s College Kisubi of Uganda.
