CEMASTEA Circular, Link for Senior School Teachers’ Training.

CEMASTEA Circular, Link for Senior School Teachers’ Training.

As you are aware, learners from Junior School Grade 9 under the competency-based education (CBE) will be transiting to Senior Schools in 2026.

Consequently, in line with its mandate, CEMASTEA is planning to build capacity of senior school Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) teachers on Competency-Based Education (CBE). This will go a long way in the realization of the Ministry’s policy of having 60% of learners pursuing STEM Education. In this regard, the Centre intends to obtain details of this target group of teachers to enable it plan the capacity-building programme.

This is therefore to request the County Teacher Capacity Development Committees (CTCDC) to inform all Senior School Principals to:

1) Ask their teachers of Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Agriculture, Home Science and all Technical Subjects to provide their details by filling an online form via the following link: https://shorturl.at/pOljB

2) Ensure that the teachers fill the form by close of business 23rd June 2025.

Thank you for your continued support.

Regards,

Mercy
