CEMASTEA Circular on Junior School Teachers’ ICT Training

RE: 2025 TRAINING OF JUNIOR SCHOOL TEACHERS ON ICT INTEGRATION IN TEACHING AND LEARNING

CEMASTEA appreciates the continuous support and cooperation from the CTCDC in the implementation of its activities in your county.

As you are aware, every year, the Centre conducts online training on ICT integration for selected teachers.

The 2025 Online ICT Training, which will be self-paced comprising of synchronous and asynchronous sessions, will take place on 16th June 2025 running from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.

It will be conducted through CEMASTEA portal and other virtual platforms.

The purpose of this letter is to ask you to identify participants for the training.

These must be newly recruited Junior School (JS) STEM teachers, including those that re-deployed from primary, who have not attended any CEMASTEA training.

The number of participants allocated to your county is summarized in Annex I.

Kindly capture the required data in a MS-Excel file format using the attached template in Annext I and II and email a soft copy to ceo@cemastea.ac.ke by the close of business Friday 30th May 2025.

Remind the teachers that only functional Gmail accounts will be accepted for the training.
