Chuka University is the 9^th Public University in Kenya Chartered in 2013. It is located on the serene eastern slopes of the snow-capped Mount Kenya in Chuka Town, Meru South, Tharaka-Nithi County at about 186 km from Nairobi city.

Its tranquil environment and climate offers a perfect setting for learning and interaction of students, staff and publics from all walks of life, free from the hustle and bustle of mundane activities in urban centres.
