PRESS STATEMENT ON CONSITITUTION OF NYAMIRA COUNTY ASSEMBLY LEADERSHIP

We are glad to bring to your attention the fact that we have finally been able to successfully constitute our County Assembly Leadership.

This is a great stride in the right direction as it paves way for the formation of House
Committees that are integral in the discharge of core House business that is three-pronged; namely: Legislation, Representation and Oversight.

The Leadership constitute the following:

2. Deputy Leader of Majority -Hon. Duke Masira
3. Majority Whip-Hon. Nyambega Gisesa
4. Deputy Majority Whip-Hon. James Mating’a
5. Majority Board Member – Hon. Joel Ombongi
6. Leader of Minority – Hon. Minda Riech
7. Deputy Leader of Minority – Hon. Kennedy Nyameino
8. Minority Whip-Hon.Julius Nyangana
9. Deputy Minority Whip-Hon. Abigael Matini
10. Minority Board Member – Lameck Sikweya
