Covid 19 latest news: Kenya records the highest number of positive cases ever

Kenya has recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases per day. On Thursday alone, the country reported 80 new cases from a sample of 3,102; with the youngest case being a six months old. Nairobi and Mombasa are leading in the positive cases.

There have been no new deaths and fatalities still remain at 50; with 9 patients recovering and getting discharged within the same period.

The total number of confirmed corona cases in the country now stands at 1,109.
