CS Machogu releases 2023 form one placement results; How to check selection results quickly

Education Cabinet Secretary Hon Ezekiel Machogu has released the 2023 selection results for the 1.2 Million 2022 KCPE candidates.

According to CS Machogu, the students have all been placed to the five categories of Schools in the country.

Those who might have any queries or need assistance can send an email to placement@education.go.ke.

In the 106 National schools across the nation, a total of 38,972 students were placed with 18,794 being female and 20,178 being male. All students who scored 400 marks and above were placed in national schools or extra-county schools of their choice.

In the extra-county schools, 111,105 female students will be admitted alongside 117,055 male students making a total of 228,160 students.

A total of 199,027 students were placed into the county schools with 107,461 of them being female and 91,566 being male.

Sub-county schools will be admitting 762,610 students who are the majority in all categories. Of these 372,459 are female while 387,203 are male.

Special needs schools will also welcome 1,819 students with 871 of them being female and 948 male. They were placed in their schools of choice or based on their disability categories on merit and choice.

How to check Form one placement results 2023

To check where the particular schools they have been placed , text the candidate’s KCPE 2023L2 index number to 22263. Send the full index number from any mobile subscriber network.

You can also access joining instructions available online for all categories of schools through the ministry’s website www.education.go.ke
