Egerton University main and Nakuru campuses closed indefinitely

Egerton University administration has today closed its Main Campus at Njoro and Nakuru Campus. This decision comes following students’ riots that were experienced for the better part of the day. The University campuses have now been closed with immediate effect until further notice.

Students demanded to be allowed to sit for examinations but the University wants them to clear outstanding fee balances first.
