The KCB Foundation scholarship is one of the few secondary school scholarships in Kenya. It is offered to students who have excelled in their KCPE exam and are from needy families or have disabilities.
KCB Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The KCB Foundation scholarship
- All eligible applicants are from all counties.
- Candidates who are registered refugees are eligible to apply.
- Each applicant must be registered for the exams and in their final year of primary school.
Required Documents to Apply
- Birth Certificate of the Applicant
- Parent/Guardian ID.
- Parent Death Certificate (if deceased)Evidence of leadership.
- Evidence of Co-curricular activity certificates.
- Payslip of Parent/Guardian if employed (For Income Proof)
- KCPE Results Slip
- High school calling letter
What the KCB scholarship covers
It covers the following in high school;
- Payment of schools fees from form one to four (4 years)
- Learning Materials like books
- Internship opportunities
- Tools for students with disabilities

- FGM Champions– Through the Anti-FGM Board, we have organized to gather information from the County Anti-FGM Steering Board, which is presided over by a County Commissioner. Branch representatives will engage with County Commissioners.
- Teen Mothers-Through the National Council for Population and Development (NCPD), we have organized to gather information from the County Anti Board, which is presided over by the County Commissioner.
- Persons with Disability (PWD)-Through the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD), we have mobilized. For PWD, 10% of the county allocation has been set aside.

The application is only available offline for now. However, it is anticipated that submissions for KCB scholarships will start to be accepted online very shortly.

Deadline
All Applicants must bring their application forms to interviews.
All KCB Foundation interviews are held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, with the exception of Kisii and Nyamira, which will be held on January 13, 2023.
