New Teacher Transfer Rules by TSC: All You Need To Know
How the TSC Digital Transfer System Works:
Step 1: Secure Login
– Teachers log in via the TSC portal using:
– TSC Number
– ID Number
– Registered mobile phone
– A 6-digit authentication code is sent to the phone to verify access.
Step 2: Automated Matching
– The system identifies your school level (Primary, Junior, Senior, TTC).
– It filters requests based on:
– Subject combinations
– School category
– Minimum tenure served (usually 3 years unless exceptional circumstances apply).
Step 3: Transfer or Swap Options
Teachers can:
– Apply for a direct transfer
– Request a mutual swap with another teacher
– Once both parties agree, the system locks the swap to prevent duplication.
Step 4: Timeline & Notifications
– Transfers are scheduled to align with school holidays to avoid disruption.
– If no match is found within 90 days, the system grants another 90-day window.
– After 180 days, a formal regret notification is issued.
Step 5: Real-Time Tracking & Escalation
– Teachers receive real-time updates on their application status.
– Escalation mechanisms are built in for delays or unresolved cases.
This module isn’t just digital—it’s strategic:
– Reduces paperwork and office visits
– Promotes equitable teacher distribution
– Supports newly recruited teachers with subject-based placement
– Enhances deployment transparency and accountability.
