Update on Preservice Admission
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KUCCPS, carries out the process of selecting qualified applicants to KMTC for various courses. Once the selection is complete, KUCCPS will update the portals of successful applicants with the following information:
“Dear (Name of applicant), you have secured a KMTC course for the September intake pending approval. Details will be provided at the end of the placement process.”
A list of qualified applicants will then be sent to KMTC to issue admission letters, upon which KUCCPS will send an SMS informing applicants.
KMTC will provide admission letters according to the list presented by KUCCPS and notify candidates via SMS. Additionally, successful candidates will receive login credentials and a password to download the admission letters and joining instructions.
Beware of Conmen!
Any circulating letter claiming to be from KMTC is FAKE and should be disregarded. Do not give money to conmen.
Note:
• Successful applicants: Beware of individuals claiming they can help you acquire an admission letter. You do not need any assistance to obtain your letter once you’ve been selected by KUCCPS.
• Unsuccessful applicants: No one can help you obtain an admission letter if you’re not selected by KUCCPS.
• Selection of applicants: KMTC no longer handles student placement for preservice courses; this function is now managed by KUCCPS. Selection is therefore the mandate of KUCCPS.
