How to get 2023 KCPE results; Knec Guide

The 2023 KCPE results have now been announced.

The Ministry of Education has released a new SMS code to quickly get the KCPE 2023 results.

2023 KCPE candidates can access their results by sending their index numbers to 40054 at Sh25 per SMS.

The service is available on all mobile network service providers in the country and charges Sh25 per request.

To send the SMS you have to follow the format of IndexNumberKCPE without leaving a space between index number and the word KCPE.

Alternatively, one can check the results by visiting the KNEC portal to access them online.

After visiting the website, search for the KCPE results tab, the year you sat for the exams (2023) enter your index number, and submit to receive the results.

Some 1,415,315 candidates wrote the exams and about 1.2 million candidates sat the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).

This will be the last KCPE results under the 8-4-4 education system in Kenya after the adoption of the Competency-Based Curriculum.

The early release of the results paves the way for Form One placement, which Machogu assured will be completed by the Christmas period.
