How to Pay NSSF via M-Pesa: Simplified Procedure

PROCEDURES ON HOW TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION USING MPESA

The National Social Security Fund is a friendly service organization, which exists for
the public good. It offers social protection to all Kenyan workers. The Fund provides
social security protection to workers in the formal and informal sectors.

NSSF registers members, receives their contributions, manage funds of the scheme,
process and ultimately pay out benefits to eligible members or their dependants.

NSSF prudently invests its members’ savings in secure, high-yielding investments
such as government securities, real estate and shared equities.

You can now contribute directly into your NSSF account through M-PESA. This is a fast, easy and convenient way to increase your contributions through your mobile
phone.

Simply follow the instructions listed below to do so:

  1. Go to your M-PESA menu and select Payment Services
  2. Select Pay Bill in the M-PESA Menu
  3. Enter Business Number which is 333300
  4. Enter NSSF Number you wish to pay for
  5. Enter the amount you wish to pay for (Between Kshs. 200 – 70,000)
  6. Enter your M-PESA PIN
  7. Confirm details are correct and press OK
  8. You will Receive a text message confirming that the amount has been sent to NSSF.
