RECRUITMENT OF CENSUS ENUMERATORS AND SUPERVISORS 2023.
The State Department for Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs will be recruiting Casuals for  twenty one (21) days to serve as Enumerators to carry out data collection in Kakamega (971), Kajiado (661), Meru (436), Mombasa (476), Homabay (551), Nyamira (288), Elgeyo Marakwet (287), Bungoma (866), Nyandarua (323), Machakos (481), Kirinyaga (178), and Migori (50)Kwale(303) Kilifi (118) Tana River(109) Lamu(99) Taita Taveta 114 Garissa (67) Wajir (88) Mandera(77) Marsabit(56) Isiolo (42) Tharaka(58) Embu (101) Kitui(84) Makueni Nyeri (72) Muranga(146) Kiambu(258) Turkana(43) West pokot(69) Samburu(46) Transzoia Uasin Gishu(211) Nandi Baringo(87) Nakuru(266) Narok(104) Kericho(196) Bomet(244) (183) Vihiga Busia(98) Siaya(127) Kisumu(144) Kisii(238)and Nairobi(430) Counties.

Qualifications

At least a Mean grade of C- Minus or its equivalent in form four level of Education.
Computer Proficiency.
Candidate must be a resident of the sub-location and conversant with the local language exception is given to urban centers which are considered metropolitan.

Remuneration

Successful candidates will be paid daily wages of Kshs. 1,200 per day based on daily targets as will be outlined in the appointment letter payable at the end of twenty one days.
Transport allowance shall be paid at the rate of Kshs. 500 per day to facilitate data collection
Airtime will be provided.

Only Shortlisted Candidates will be invited to appear in person before interview/ recruitment panels on scheduled dates, venues and time to be Communicated.

POSITIONS:

The personnel are divided into two categories, namely;

Supervisors (1,831)

Enumerators (7,936)

REQUIREMENTS:

The following are the requirements for various positions.

(I).ENUMERATORS:

•Must be of good conduct and responsible citizens
•At least form four level of education with a minimum of C- or equivalent
•Must have legible, neat handwriting
•Must be residents of the sub-locations, preferably the enumeration areas, they wish to work in
•Aged between 18 and 50 years old
•Must have a national identify card
•Fluent in the main local language/dialect

(II)SUPERVISORS:

•Should be mature and responsible citizens, preferably teachers, government officers, or university graduates with management experience, or persons with equivalent qualifications such as higher national diploma with experience in coordinating research/ surveys, or presiding officer in general elections
•Must be residents of the locations they wish to work in
•Aged between 25 years and 50 years Must have a national identity card
•Fluent in the main local language/dialect
•Must have good communication and training skills
•Must have good public relations
