JSS Grade 7 CBC Novel list (Kiswahili and English set books)

JSS( Grade 7 ) Kiswahili teachers are supposed to select one Novels among the ones approved by KICD and not any other book. A novela has 60-100 pages and has few characters. ( Mostly not more than 5)

Currently there are four approved Kiswahili Novelas namely:

1. Mshale wa Matumaini
2. Uteuzi wa Chale
3. Mji wa Matarajio
4. Hidaya

Learners will be assessed on the same.

Mwalimu ateue novela moja miongoni mwa nne zilizoidhinishwa na awaelekeze wanafunzi:

1. Kueleza maana na sifa za novela
2. Kujadili maudhui na dhamira katika novela iliyoteuliwa
3. Kutambua mandhari mbalimbali na ploti ya novela iliyoteuliwa
4. Kueleza umuhimu wa mandhari na ploti ya novela iliyoteuliwa
5. Kutambua wahusika, kujadili sifa zao, uhusiano wao na mafunzo kutoka kwao
6. Kutambua mbinu za lugha katika novela iliyoteuliwa
(Na mengine kama ilivyo katika Mtaala)
