Junior Secondary Schools Subjects, Number Of Lessons Per Week and Teachers To Handle Them

LEARNING AREAS CLUSTERS FOR JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, JSS.

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has released guidelines on the Junior Secondary Schools Curriculum Based Establishment. This provides details on Junior Secondary Schools Subjects, Number Of Lessons Per Week and Qualifications of Teachers To Handle Them.

1.  JSS LANGUAGES TEACHERS

Teachers trained and qualified to teach languages (English/Kiswahili/Foreign/Indigenous) will be called upon teach the learning areas shown in Table 1 below

2.   MATHEMATICS JSS TEACHERS

Teachers trained and qualified to teach mathematics will be called upon teach the learning areas shown in Table 1 below
