Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu Monday revealed the top ten, 10, most coveted schools by 2023 KCPE candidates during the release of the 2024 Form One selection and placement results.

Kabianga High School emerged as the undisputed champion, attracting a staggering 186,357 applications despite its limited capacity of 672 students.

Nanyuki High School took the second spot, capturing the hearts (and applications) of 158,741 students, while Pangani Girls High School secured third place with 144,542 applications for its 384 available slots.

Rounding out the top five are Kapsabet Boys’ High School (143,723 applications) and Alliance Girls’ High School (135,033 applications), both renowned for their rigorous academic programs and nurturing environments.

Maseno School (123,777 applications), Nakuru High School (115,513 applications), Butere Girls’ High School (114,635 applications), Mangu High School (112,938 applications), & Alliance High School (110,839 applications) complete the prestigious top 10.
