KASNEB exam timetable and instructions 2021

Kasneb has released the 2021 Examinations timetable for students in various colleges. Check the details and instructions carefully.

Kasneb Examination Dates

The examination dates for the 2021 examinations are as follows:

(a) Monday, 30 August 2021 and Tuesday, 31 August 2021.
  • Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS) – Levels I and II
  • Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD) Levels I, II and III
  • Diploma in Information Communication Technology (DICT) Levels I, II and III
  • Diploma in Credit Management (DCM) Levels I, II and III
(b) Monday, 30 August 2021 to Friday, 3 September  2021.
  • Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Parts I, II and III
  • Certified Secretaries (CS) Parts I, II and III
  • Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA) Parts I, II and III
  • Certified Information Communication Technologists (CICT) Parts I, II and III
  • Certified Credit Professionals (CCP) Parts I, II and III
  • Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K) Parts I, II, III and IV
(c) Wednesday, 1 September  2021 and Thursday, 2 September 2021.

Foreign Accountancy Qualifications (FAQ)

(d) Wednesday, 1 September  2021.

Foreign Secretaries Qualifications (FSQ)

(e) Monday, 30 August 2021 to Wednesday, 1 September  2021.

Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K) Levels I and II

Note: Candidates are advised to make early arrangements, including seeking permission from the employers where applicable, to ensure that they sit for the examinations.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES BEFORE YOU START TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS, MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ISSUED WITH THE CORRECT EXAMINATION QUESTION PAPER.

Candidates should present themselves for the examination at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time for the commencement of the paper they are taking (see note (a) and (b) below).

Candidates will neither be allowed to take the examination if they arrive 30 minutes or more after the commencement of the examination nor will candidates be permitted to leave the examinations room until after the end of the first 30 minutes following the commencement of the examination.

IDENTIFICATION: Candidates who are Kenya citizens will be required to produce their National Identity Cards and/or KASNEB Student Identification Cards. Non-Kenyans will be  required to produce relevant identification documents such as Passports. Candidates who do not have the aforementioned identification documents will be required to avail other acceptable identification documents.

Stationery will be provided but candidates must bring their own pens, pencils, rulers and ink. No stationery whatsoever may be removed from the examinations room.

Each candidate has a registration number assigned at the time of registration. Each candidate must take his/her seat at the place allocated and indicated by the registration number. The registration number must be entered at the top right hand corner of each answer sheet.

Candidates MUST NOT write their names on the answer booklet.

Strict silence must be observed during the examination.

Candidates MUST NOT retain any notes, printed papers or books during the examination, but must leave any such documents outside the examinations room.

Candidates are allowed to use calculators provided that such calculators are noiseless and  cordless. Calculators which are programmable are not allowed.

During the course of the examination, no candidate may leave the examinations room without permission. Any candidate who does so will not be allowed back into the examinations room.

Candidates who finish the paper before the invigilators announce the end of the examination session and who wish to leave the examinations room while the examination is in progress must hand in their scripts to the invigilators.

Mobile phones are strictly not allowed in the examinations room.

Candidates MUST NOT take away the examination question papers from the examinations room.

Mobile phones MUST BE switched off and should not be used in or outside the examinations room until the examination session is over

Smoking is not allowed in the examinations room

NOTE:

(a) THE MORNING SESSIONS BEGIN AT 9.00 A.M.
(b) THE AFTERNOON SESSIONS BEGIN AT 2.00 P.M.
(c) ALL PAPERS ARE OF THREE HOURS DURATION.
