KCPE 2023 Results: Here is How to check your Results quickly

Today, learners who sat for their KCPE exams in October 2023 get to know their fate as the new Education CS Ezekiel Machogu announces and officially releases the exam results for the 1.2 million candidates.

We know the anxiety to get your results is very high and we will help you get the results quickly, ahead of everybody.

There are a number of ways through which you can receive your KCPE results quickly and easily.

Using KNEC SMS code 40054

As has been the case for many previous exams, the fastest way for pupils and guardians to check for their results has been by using the 40054 SMS code provided by the Kenya National Exam Council, KNEC.

To do this, the learner will need to send an SMS from either Safaricom, Airtel, or Telkom to 40054 with the Index Number i.e 23467847003KCPE. They should then receive a message with a breakdown of how they scored.

Carriers have revealed that this service will attract a charge of Ksh. 25 per SMS so ensure you have at least that much in form of airtime.

Using the online KNEC portal

Of course, the official KNEC Portal is also available for users that might need to check the same online. To do so, simply follow these simple steps.

  • Go to Official KNEC website knec.ac.ke
  • Click on the KCPE Results tab then Select the year you sat for the Exams
  • Enter your Index number and click Submit button to get your results.

Of course, learners will still need to collect their result slips and leaving certificates from their former primary schools, documents that will be crucial before admission to secondary schools.

Also worth noting is that this is the second last group of candidates under the 8-4-4 education system, with the last group expected to sit the last KCPE exam next year.
