The results of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations for 2022 will be announced today, according to Education CS Ezekiel Machogu.

President RUTO alongside Education CS to officiate release of 2022 KCPE results.

Absence of President Ruto from the country had delayed release of the results.

If you’re one of the nearly 1,225,507 students who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams in 2022, you may be wondering how to check your KCPE results via SMS.

Here is all that you need to know about checking your KCPE results online in December 2022.

How to Check KCPE Results via Knec SMS code in 2022

Here’s how to check your KCPE results via Knec SMS in 2022:

To get your KCPE results via SMS, send an SMS with your Index Number to 20076 for Safaricom, Airtel, and Orange networks.

For example, if your Index Number is 1434567890, you would send the following text message:

1434567890 to 20076

You should receive your KCPE results via SMS within a few minutes.

Ensure that you have enough airtime before sending the SMS.

The cost of sending an SMS to check KCPE results is Ksh. 25 per SMS on all networks.

How to Check KCPE Results Online in 2023

Alternatively, you can view your KCPE results online by visiting the KNEC website and entering your Index Number.

This method lets you view your results in real-time and print out your KCPE result slip.

To check your KCPE results on the KNEC portal, follow these steps:

1. Go to the KNEC website (https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/) and log in using your candidate number and examination year as your username and password.

2. Click on the “ONLINE- RESULT-SLIP” tab.

3. Select “KCPE” from the drop-down menu.

4. Enter your Index Number and click “Login.”

5. Your KCPE results will be displayed on the screen.
