The Ministry of Education and Knec introduced the KEMIS website to address previous issues with result accuracy. After an online uproar over incorrect SMS results, they assured everyone that the results on the KEMIS portal are correct. CS Machogu, leading the Ministry, emphasized trusting the portal over SMS results.

For a seemless experience, visit the KEMIS portal after the official result release. Click on the 2023 KCSE result tab, input your Index Number and name, and click search to view your results. This move was a relief for many, offering a user-friendly and cost-effective platform for result confirmation.

School administrators can also access and print KCSE results via the official KNEC portal at www.knec-portal.ac.ke. Simply log in with the User Name and Password created during KCSE registration. Specify the candidate index range, choose the desired format (like ‘WORD’ or ‘PDF’), and download the result slips for offline storage and printing.
