Release of KCSE 2024 results: As anxiety continues to build amongst Candidates who sat their 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migosi Ogamba has moved to reassure them that all is well. According to the latest statement from the CS, the candidates will know their results by the end of next week.

Ogamba says that the 2024 KCSE results will be released latest Tuesday January 14th, 2025.

“In keeping with the tradition, the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examination results will be released within the first two weeks of January,” the CS said in a press statement.

There has been growing anxiety among parents and the 2024 KCSE candidates over the delays in the release of the results despite the marking having been completed; by mid December, 2024 .

This is the second time since 2016 that the results for the KCSE candidates will be released after the New Year festivities.

Since former Education CS Fred Matiang’i took over office in 2016, the results have been released religiously before the New Year; save for 2020, 2021 and 2022 (under the late Education CS Professor George Magoha) and 2023 under former CS Ezekiel Machogu.
