KCSE 2024 results in numbers- Ultimate analysis

Grade distribution:

– A: 1,693
– A-: 7,743
– B+: 19,150
– B: 43,120
– B-: 75,347
– C+: 99,338
– C: 111,717
– C-: 118,781
– D+: 128,885
– D: 153,334
– D-: 151,487
– E: 48,333.

246, 391 got direct university entry qualification of C+ and above

There were 840 candidates who were involved in examination irregularities in 2024 and their results have been cancelled.

The results of 2829 candidates suspected to have been involved in exam irregularities have been withheld pending investigations.

91 contracted professionals were reported to have been involved in aiding exam malpractices.

All the candidates can now check their results via the official KNEC portal; results.knec.ac.ke The candidates need to enter their index number and the name (s) as per the registration data for the 2024 KCSE examination.

Unlike in previous years, candidates will not be able to access their KCSE results through SMS code.

The SMS code was discontinued before the release of the 2023 results after numerous complaints by parents and students over the years
