KCSE, KCPE Examiners, Invigilators and Supervisors to get pay on this date- Education Ministry Announces

The Government has promised to pay all the Knec contracted professionals. Basic Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang has announced that the government is engaging to ensure the teachers, who completed the marking of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam.

“There is engagement within the government. Shortly before the end of this financial year, we shall have paid every teacher who participated in marking the examination,” Dr Kipsang announced.

Thousands of teachers who manned and marked the  KCSE exams are yet to get their dues; months after the results were announced.

This comes as welcome news as the government and Knec have been tight lipped on the payment dates.

According to Dr Kipsang, the payments will be released before end of this financial year; June 30th.
