    • Mid-October, 2022: Shortly after reopening, a second strike occurred. Investigations by the Ministry of Education later claimed these allegations were unfounded and that students were being incited by local community members and “cartels” interested in school supply tenders.

    • Late October 2022: A third riot broke out just days after students returned. This incident was sparked by a confrontation where Form Four students reportedly assaulted junior students for “making noise.” Property worth Sh2.9 million was destroyed, including computers, lab equipment, and a newly installed CCTV system.
