Khwisero Polytechnic Courses, Intakes, requirements, Fees

Khwisero Polytechnic and Technical College is set to open its doors in January next year to offer various technical courses.

Area MP Christopher Aseka said thousands of youths will be equipped with technical skills to contribute towards socio-economic development in the County and the country at large.

“Technical and entrepreneurial training to equip youth with skills that address the dynamic societal needs in the competitive market will be offered at the institution,” he said.

The college is situated on a 10-acre piece of land in Mushiangubu sub location in Khwisero Sub County.

The project has been funded by the NG-CDF in collaboration with National Government that has committed to support the students who enroll by paying Sh30, 000 in school fees for each student per year to enhance access to the training.

The students can also apply for loan from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).

The institution offers various technical courses including Automotive Engineering, Building Construction Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Food and Beverage Production and Service, General Agriculture among others.

The MP was speaking to the area residents while he inspected the ongoing final touches of the preparations for the opening of the institution.

He challenged the youth to enroll and pursue courses of their choice at the facility to be self-reliant and improve their economic status in future.
