KICD ranked among the best institutions

A Centre of Excellence is scaling the heights.

The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development emerged at position 5 out of 74 State Corporations during the release of the report on the Evaluation of Performance for the Ministries, State Corporations and Tertiary Institutions for the Financial Year 2021/2022.

The report was released by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya Dr. William Samoei Ruto on Tuesday, 11th April 2023 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

A total of 394 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) implemented the 18th Cycle Performance Contracting. KICD achieved a composite score of 2.2740 which is rated as Excellent. Out of the 249 State Corporations, KICD was ranked number 13.

It is exemplary work performed by the KICD TEAM in their professional planning and execution. The Institute is committed to continuing with the implementation of the performance contracting programme to improve efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

“I wish therefore to commend all KICD Staff for working tirelessly throughout the Financial Year 2021/2022. Your Effort and Commitment, individually and collectively, enabled the Institute to achieve this exemplary achievement,” said KICD Chief Executive Officer Prof. Charles Ong’ondo.
