We offer three courses for pre-primary and primary schools teachers.

DPTE

DIPLOMA IN PRIMARY TEACHER EDUCATION

DPTE

For admission into the DPTE Program, a student must have a mean grade of C (plain) in KCSE and C (plain) in the following subjects

(i) Mathematics

(ii) English

(iii) One Science and

(iv) One Humanity

The course is examined by Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) .

ECDE Certificate

Certificate in Early Childhood Development & Education (E.C.D.E)

Early Childhood Development & Education (E.C.D.E) course is meant to create teachers specialized in training children. The course graduates are best suited to teach kindergarten and nursery schools.

The curriculum includes comprehensive training in languages, basic mathematics, children development, Human and child rights, psychology and administration.

The course is examinable by Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).

DECTE

Diploma in Early Childhood teacher Education (D.E.C.T.E)

To be admitted into the DECTE Program a student requires to have a mean grade of C (plain) with no other conditions
