KMTC Emerges Second at the CIO100 Awards
The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) secured second place in the Education Sector category at the regional CIO100 Symposium and Awards held on Friday, November 22, 2024, in Naivasha.
Lagos Business School clinched the top spot, while the International School of Kenya took third place.
KMTC CEO, Dr. Kelly Oluoch, welcomed the achievement, describing it as a significant milestone.
He emphasized that the College’s digital transformation efforts are gaining recognition.
Acknowledging its performance, the College received a Silver and Bronze Mark from the event organizers.
The ICT Manager, Dr. Kenneth Riany, was recognized during the event as one of the 17 CIO of the Year 2024 finalists for his outstanding leadership in Information Technology.
Last year, KMTC emerged as the category winner, beating over 600 competitors in the prestigious awards.
The CIO100 Awards, organized by CIO Africa under dx5, celebrate organizations and individuals leveraging IT to deliver business value. This includes creating a competitive advantage, optimizing processes, enabling growth, enhancing customer relationships, or driving digital transformation.
