KMTC Mandera Campus: Courses, Location & Fees

Established in 2018, with its first intake in April 2019, KMTC Mandera Campus has emerged as a beacon of opportunity, growth, and resilience. Its presence in the region represents a critical investment in human capital, equipping aspiring healthcare professionals with the skills necessary to strengthen the local and national health system.

The campus is strategically designed to offer a secure, modern, and conducive learning environment, featuring state-of-the-art facilities that support both academic and residential needs.

Students benefit from two advanced medical laboratories, providing hands-on training that enhances their practical skills. A resource center, equipped with a digital computer lab and a comprehensive library, fosters research and innovation, ensuring students stay at the forefront of medical advancements.

Recognizing the importance of a comfortable and secure living environment, the campus has two hostel blocks, each accommodating 250 students, creating an atmosphere that promotes both academic excellence and personal well-being.

Additionally, a solar-powered borehole guarantees a reliable water supply, ensuring uninterrupted daily operations for students and staff alike.

With its well-established digital and modern infrastructure, KMTC Mandera Campus offers a variety of certificate and diploma programs tailored to meet the growing demand for healthcare professionals. These programs include Health Care Assistance, Community Health and Development, Community Health Nursing, Clinical Medicine and Surgery, and Community Health Nursing.

By offering these courses, the campus plays a pivotal role in bridging healthcare gaps in the region, empowering graduates to provide essential medical services to their communities.

As KMTC commemorates 100 years of transformative health training, the launch of KMTC Mandera Campus is a testament to the institution’s unwavering commitment to expanding access to medical education.

This milestone reinforces the belief that quality healthcare begins with quality training, and KMTC remains at the forefront of nurturing the next generation of health professionals.
