How to create KMTC student account; KMTC online student account https://portal.kmtc.ac.ke

Creating your KMTC student account at the Student online portal is now very easy. This should not worry you any more as the following steps will guide you successfully. Ensure you have an active email account before proceeding with the account creation process.

Now, you should proceed as follows:

1. Log to KMTC website www.kmtc.ac.ke
2. On the menu, click on the PORTAL menu item, the last item on the right side
3. You will land on the online registration portal http://kmtc.ac.ke/portal
4. If you have registered an account, log in using your email and password
5. If you don’t have an account, click on the (Have no account? Register) below the log in form.
6. This will land you to creating account form
7. Enter your valid email and password
8. Click on Create Account Button
9. An email will be sent to your email address with a link to verify your account.
10. Open your email and Click on the email link
11. You will be redirected to KMTC portal.
12. Fill in your personal information on the account creation form provided
13. Click on the register button
14. You will be provide you with a form to confirm your data
15. Check information accuracy
16. Click save changes.

How to apply online for KMTC course

You can at the same time apply for KMTC courses easily. The process can be accomplished online. But, first you need to know the duration taken for the various courses offered by KMTC.

Course duration: Certificate Courses: 2 Years except for Community Health Nursing which takes 2 1/2 years
Course duration: Diploma Courses: 3 Years except for Community Health Nursing which takes 3 1/2 years
Mean Grade: Diploma Courses C (Plain) and above, Certificate courses a C- (Minus) and above then specific cluster subjects as described for each course

With the, above, background information you can now follow the steps below to successfully apply for your preferred course online;

1. On the left side bar, click on the applications
2. From the drop down menu, click apply
3. You will be directed to option 1 course selection
4. Select the Option 1 course level (Diploma or Certificate)
5. Click Search
6. A form will appear within the page
7. Select your desire course
8. Fill in the form details as guided by the from labels
9. Make sure that all fields are filled
10. Click on submit application
11. You will be redirected to Option 2 Form
12. Select the course level (Diploma or Certificate)
13. Click Search
14. A form will appear within the page
15. Select your desired option 2 course
16. Fill in the form details as guided by the from labels Make sure that all fields are filled
17. Click on submit application. Wait for a response from KMTC.

1. Kindly go through the advert to check the courses you are qualified for.
2. If you had already applied before, you don’t have to register. You just login using the email you had created before. If you have forgotten, click on Forgot email/Forgot password? button
3. You can only apply for the course you are qualified for
4. Kindly use the userguide provided above to make your Application process easier
5. Ensure that you have all the documents stated in the user guide
6. Ensure that the scanned documents are less than 2 MB in size
