Qualified, self-motivated, and capable persons are encouraged to apply for several vacant posts by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). The permanent and pensionable positions, which cut across several departments, reflect KNEC’s commitment to improving its human resource capacity.
Among the nine advertised roles, key positions like Assistant Director, Examinations (Teacher Assessments) and Assistant Director, EA, both under KNEC Grade 4, have one vacancy each.
ICT-related positions, such as the Principal ICT Officer (Software Developer) at Grade 5 and the ICT Officer (Software Developer) at Grade 7, which each have one and five vacancies, are also emphasized.
Planning Officer, Examinations Officer, Human Resource Management Officer, and Examinations Administrator are all new roles that become available at Grade 7. In addition, there are three positions available for clerks for the Grade 11 Examinations.
KNEC will provide a competitive salary package to successful candidates.
