KSSSA 2023 Term 2 National Games qualifiers receive cash prizes, other awards

Trans Nzoia Governor Hon George Natembeya gifts schools which booked tickets to the national school games.

Trans Nzoia Governor Hon George Natembeya has gifted schools which booked tickets to the 2023 KSSSA national school games in Kakamega.

The players and teachers also received cash prizes alongside the sumptuous meals and drinks.

“This morning, I had the honor of hosting the victorious secondary school sporting teams from our county at a breakfast meeting celebrating their triumph in The Rift Valley Region Games”. The Governor said on Thursday.

To aid them in their preparations for the upcoming National Games in Kakamega, the Governor presented the teams with 1 Million shillings and KSH 100,000 for each team that will be travelling outside the Country.

Additionally, he personally appreciated each player by rewarding them with KSH 5,000 for their outstanding performance; with respective coaches and Principals receiving Sh10,000 each.
