Netball will be among the many sporting events where new champs will be unveiled; in Kakamega. 2022 KSSSA National Champs Kobala mixed (from Nyanza) failed to make the cut after finishing third at the 2023 Regional games.

Three time champions (2016, 2018 and 2019) Kaya Tiwi from the Coast Region will be hoping to regain the title that they surrendered to Kobala in 2022.

The Coastal queens are in pool A alongside the new Nyanza Champs, Oyugi Ogango Girls, who overcame Kobala 28 to 20 in a tough Nyanza Region’s group A opening match.

Regulars Kinale (Central) and Hosts’ Bukholo complete the four team line up in pool A.

Pool B has Rift Valley’s Andersen, North Eastern’s Representative, Syumile (Eastern) and Nairobi’s St. Dorcas.

3 teams proceed to the East Africa School Games (FEASSSA).

The Kenyan queens will be hoping to dethrone Uganda’s St. Mary’s Kitende; who have lifted the FEASSSA netball title a record 17 times, since 2002.
