KUCCPS Announces 63 Placement Support Centers

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has established support centers at 63 institutions across 47 counties. These centers will have officers available to assist and advise applicants for degree programs, as well as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Training and Technical Trainer College (TTC) programs.

This announcement follows the recent opening of the placement portal for admissions in various educational institutions in preparation for the September 2025 intake.

In the Western and Nyanza regions, applicants are encouraged to visit Alupe University in Busia, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology in Siaya, Kaimosi Friends University in Vihiga, Kibabii University in Bungoma, Kisii University, and Mabera Technical Training Institute in Migori.

KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer Mercy Wahome stated that additional officers can be found at Maseno University in Kisumu, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in Kakamega, Mawego National Polytechnic and Tom Mboya University in Homa Bay, Nyamira National Polytechnic, Rongo University in Migori, Shamberere Technical Training Institute in Kakamega, and St. Joseph Technical Institute for the Deaf in Nyagoma, Siaya.

In the Central region, applicants can visit Dedan Kimathi University and Tetu Technical and Vocational College in Nyeri, Kirinyaga University, Limuru and Nachu Technical and Vocational College in Kiambu, Murang’a Technical Training Institute and University of Technology, and Nyandarua National Polytechnic.

Additionally, applicants may also visit the Karen Institute for the Deaf in Nairobi.

In the Rift Valley region, support centers are located at Baringo National Polytechnic, Belgut Technical and Vocational College, and Kabianga University in Kericho, Bomet University, Egerton University, and Total Technical Training Institute in Nakuru, Emmurua Dikkir Technical and Vocational College in Narok, and Endebess Technical Training College and Kitale National Polytechnic in Trans Nzoia.

Other centers include Kapcherop and Kipsoen Technical and Vocational College in Elgeyo Marakwet, Kiteilakapel Technical and Vocational College, Koitalel Samoei University College in Nandi, Laikipia University, Maasai Mara University in Narok, Masai Technical and Vocational College, Moi University, and the University of Eldoret in Uasin Gishu, as well as Sotik Technical Training Institute in Bomet.

In the Northeastern and Eastern regions, support centers are available at Chuka and Tharaka University in Tharaka Nithi County, David Wambuli Technical and Vocational College in Makueni, Embu University, Garissa University, Kaelo Technical and Vocational College, Meru University, and Laismis Technical Training Institute in Marsabit.

Other locations include Machakos University, Mandera Technical Training Institute, South Eastern Kenya University, Turkana University, and Wajir Technical and Vocational College.

The announcement included additional coastal areas, such as Garsen Technical and Vocational College in Tana River, Kinango and Lungalunga Technical and Vocational Colleges in Kwale, Lamu East Technical and Vocational College, Pwani University, Taita Taveta University, Taveta Technical and Vocational College in Taita Taveta, and the Technical University of Mombasa.

Application assistance is also offered at all 58 Huduma centers and at the KUCCPS offices located in ACK Garden House in the Community Area of Nairobi.

Applications for these educational institutions will be open from April 2 to April 13, 2025.
