The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the extension of the application for placement to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
In a statement on Tuesday, the placement body urged students intending to join TVET institutions to apply before end of January 12, 2024, and not end on January 2, 2024, as earlier announced.
Through the TVET program, students with a Mean grade of below C+ gets the chance to pursue diploma, certificate and artisan courses.
For Diploma courses learners are required to have a mean grade of C – (minus) and above while craft certificate and artisan courses require a minimum KCSE Grade of D and E respectively.
How to apply
👉Visit the KUCCPS student’s portal; students.kuccps.net
👉Log in using KCSE index number, KCSE year and password. KUCCPS allow new applicants to log in using their birth certificate number or KCSE index number.
👉Select four courses of your preference and the government institution of your choice. Its advised you list them in order of priority, with the first being the most preferable and the fourth being the least.
👉Click submit.
