KUCCPS Application Guide for 2025 KCSE Candidates
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is expected to open the portal in March 2026.
Here’s what every student and parent must know:
-Number of Courses: You Can Choose Up to 6 Degree programmes,These 6 choices consist of 3 options for the same program in different institutions (1a, 1b, 1c) and 3 other choices (2, 3, 4).
-Up to 4 Diploma/Certificate/Artisan courses
✓Arrange them in order of priority. KUCCPS considers your first choice before moving to the next.
• Application Fee • KSh 1,500 (First-time applicants)
• Payment is made ONLY via the KUCCPS portal through E-Citizen.
• You will receive a transaction code after payment.
✓ Revision of Choices If you miss your preferred course, KUCCPS may open a revision window where you can select other available programmes.
✓Sent Money to the Wrong Account? KUCCPS allows reversal if you submit a formal request with correct transaction details.
However, the process may take several days.
