KUCCPS- how to download the 2023/2024 university students admission letters for Moi University

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KUCCPS, has completed the process of placing the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, exams candidates to universities of their choice. For  most universities, the reporting date is between August and September, 2023.

Students are expected to visit the KUCCPS portal so as to know the university into which they have been placed. After knowing the university of placement, proceed to download the admission letter. The admission letter contains vital information for prospective students.

CONTENTS OF THE ADMISSION LETTER.

Here is a list of important items highlighted on the admission letters for the 2023/2024 first years:

1). The School where the student has been placed i.e school of education, School of Pure and Applied Sciences.
2). The Title of the degree that the student will be awarded at the completion of the study period e.g Bachelor of Education.
3). The reporting date.
4). The student’s registration number.
5). Documents that the student must present on the reporting date e.g Originals and copies of:
i). Admission Letter.
ii. KCSE Certificate and/or KCSE Result Slip on the day of registration for verification purposes.
iii. National Identification Card. If under 18 years of age, Birth Certificate will be required.
iv. National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) Registration Card for self or for guardian.
v. Proof of payment of full fees as per the respective programme fee structure.
vi. Your agreement to adhere to the Rules and Regulations Governing the Conduct and Discipline of Students of the University.
6). Fees payment details; amounts and accounts into which the deposits are to be made.

To download your admission letter, use the steps outlined below:

1. Visit Moi University Website via: https://www.mu.ac.ke/
2. Select Admissions on the Main Menu and click Admission letters.
3. Login as outlined:
   1. Email: Your KCSE Index number@gmail.com
   2. Password: Your KCSE Index number
   3. Example:
      1. If your KCSE Index Number is 12345678910/2018 then the correct credentials for Login is as follows:
      2. Email: 12345678910/ 2017@gmail.com (Note: there is no space between the slash[/] and 2018)
      3. Password: 12345678910/2017
4. Once Logged in Select, Admissions on the Sidebar
5. Download:  Admission Letter, Admission forms (Student Booklet) and the Fees structure
