KUCCPS Launches Application Portal for KMTC: Application Process
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has launched its application portal for students looking to enroll at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).
In a notice issued on June 24, KUCCPS announced that the portal is now open for candidates interested in the September 2025 intake.
The placement service invited students to apply, stating that the portal will be accessible for the next two weeks, from June 23 to July 7.
“Notice! The KUCCPS online system is now available for applications for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake,” KUCCPS stated.
The notice instructed students wishing to apply for their desired courses to do so via the KUCCPS portal or by visiting any Huduma center nationwide.
How to Apply for KMTC Courses
To apply for one of the 36 available courses, students should log into the KUCCPS portal at students.kuccps.net.
Upon accessing the portal, applicants will need to enter their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number, the year they took the KCSE, and their password.
Students are advised to use their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) index number or their birth certificate number as their password.
KUCCPS has listed 36 programs available for application, which include both diploma and certificate courses. Among the notable options are a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery and a Diploma in Pharmacy.
Other diploma offerings include Public Health, Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Health Counseling, Health Promotion, Kenya Registered Nursing, Mortuary Science, and Optometry.
Certificate courses available for application include Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Medical Emergency Technician, Health Insurance Management, and Nutrition and Dietetics.
This announcement follows a recent opening of the portal for candidates to make a second revision of their course choices, which was aimed at 2024 KCSE candidates who had either not applied for courses or were not successful in their applications.
