The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its application portals for students who completed the 2024 KCSE to enroll in Degree, TVET, and TTC programs.

In a notice released on Friday, March 28, KUCCPS encouraged the 2024 KCSE candidates to access the portal and choose their desired courses.

“Attention 2024 KCSE candidates! You can now submit your applications for degree programs through the KUCCPS portal. Please log in at http://students.kuccps.net to apply,” the notice stated.

KUCCPS confirmed that the application deadline is April 21, 2025.

This announcement follows Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba’s earlier statement that the portals would be available in March for students looking to enroll in university for the September 2025 intake.

“In line with the annual placement schedule, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will open the placement portal for the September 2025 university intake in March 2025,” the Education CS mentioned.

Ogamba also highlighted that KUCCPS has been facilitating placements for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Teacher Training Colleges, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions for the March and May intakes.

“The KUCCPS portal has been accessible since January 24, 2025, for applicants to the Kenya Medical Training College, Teacher Training Colleges, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions, for the March and May 2025 intakes,” Ogamba added.
